Wind Turbine at Green Angel Gardens

A Whisper 200 went up in 2009! It is the only turbine on the peninsula that sits on an approved 30 foot tower. It currently charges batteries and will soon light lights, run water, etc. We are in a class 4 wind zone so turbines are the best investment for alternative power.

    Another wonderful WWOOF stay with Larkin at Green Angel Gardening. We prepped beds and transplanted arugula, chard and lettuce. Thanks for the teaching, the good food and a beautiful garden Larkin.

    Wind power is a good source of electricity but it also takes up lots of space just like solar power plants.:..
